Toshiba Tecra M10 Review - A Notebook Designed For Business, Security, and Performance
The Toshiba Tecra M10 is a portable laptop that provides users with connectivity and performance. It not only works great as a mobile device, but as a desktop computer as well. It’s not the best looking machine on the planet, but it’s great at what it does. To make up for a lack of design, the M10 provides excellent performance and security to users. It’s especially designed to handle all the communication and business needs for professionals.
The Toshiba Tecra M10 is great at multitasking. Users can run a virus scan in the background while working without any problems. It can handle just about every business application imaginable, making it a great choice for all types of professionals. Everyone from a small business owner to a corporate CEO can benefit with this system.
The base specs include:
· 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo P8600
· 2 GB RAM memory
· 160 GB hard drive storage
· Integrated Intel GMA 4500 HD
· DVD +/- optical drive
· 14.4″ (1440×900) display
The security features are also important to mention in a Toshiba Tecra M10 review. This notebook has many great security functions, including a finger print reader, key logon, SmartCard reader, multi-level passwords, reinforced security cable lock slot, etc. Since security is one thing a lot of businesses are often conscious about, it’s great to know that there is a notebook on the market such as this with these kinds of features.
The only bad thing about this device is its lack of battery life. The battery only lasts for up to three hours, which means it needs to be charged at least twice per work shift. Those who don’t plan on carrying the laptop around a lot really don’t have to worry. Those who do, however, need to carry the adapter with them to charge the battery up whenever they get a chance.
This system comes with everything needed for wireless networking, including a Wi-Fi Link chipset, webcam, videoconferencing software, Skype, and Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR. It can connect to the internet in the office with a router and in public with the wireless functions. Except for the lack of battery life, this notebook has what it takes for staying connected while on the move.
Consumers interested in this notebook can use Toshiba Tecra M10 coupons to save money. Online Toshiba stores often offer great discounts on the M10 which help make it an affordable mobile solution for business professionals. The specs and features can be configured by the consumer in order to meet the requirements of their business.

| Review by AVID SHOPPER (USA) 2010-09-02 I use it only for simple e-mail and games, and Facebook. I really like the genre, but I have two criticiams. The touchpad is difficult to use and are very prone to accidental commands while in the path. I may try an external mouse, but this is rather annoying. The spacebar is rather thin and not always responsive... Read more ASUS UL30A-X5 Thin reviews | ||

| Review by Richard H. Milbourn (USA) 2010-08-21 You are in the market for a new laptop, maybe your a student. Need something portable, not a 17-inch monitor here. There should be light, well built and easily in a pocket, say, ten minutes walk from campus. But at the same time, you do not want a netbook. You do not want to squint at a screen 11 inches, small type on a keyboard, or turn... Read more Apple MacBook MC516LL/A reviews | ||

| Review by C. Lin (USA) 2010-09-08 I've had it just over a year. I was happy, until one night, it was very hot, and the computer turns itself off.
